Advantage Rent-A-Car Teams with GayTravel.com
Under terms of the deal, visitors to GayTravel.com will have access to deals and promotions on car rentals via a link to Advantage's Web site.
Advantage Rent A Car, a national car rental service owned by Denny Hecker Family Ventures, is partnering with GayTravel.com to offer special promotions for the site’s users.
Under terms of the deal, visitors to GayTravel.com, an online travel resource for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities, will have access to deals and promotions on car rentals via a link to Advantage’s Web site.
Denny Hecker, Advantage Rent A Car chairman, said in a news release, “We’re excited about our relationship with GayTravel.com and the LGBT community.”
Advantage Rent A Car will also be on hand at San Diego’s Gay Pride Festival July 19 and 20, giving away free rental day packages and collecting information from consumers.
Cara Lyn Greco, GayTravel.com CEO, said in a release, “Advantage is making a significant, long-term commitment to our community and we’re proud to be their partner in these efforts.”
Minneapolis-based Advantage Rent A Car has 116 U.S. locations.
