WINTER PARK, Fla. --– Mariano Delgado of Advantage Rent-A-Car has been named the Five Star Sales and Service Professional of the Year. The honor, awarded by Auto Rental News and the Khoury Group, recognizes Delgado's customer service and sales skills during 2004.

Delgado received a plaque and a check for $1,000, along with congratulatory letters from ARN Publisher Sherb Brown and Khoury Group President Ziad Khoury.

"Advantage Rent-A-Car has lived by the standard of providing exceptional customer service for over 40 years," said Ken Nicholson, regional director for Advantage Rent-A-Car. "Mariano has not only embraced that mission, but he strives each day to reach new heights for our customers. We are all very proud and honored that Mariano was selected for this national award. Delgado was selected because of his upbeat attitude on the job, helpfulness with co-workers, exceptional customer service, and consistently high numbers in incremental sales yield and walk-up revenue.
