Alamo Rent A Car announced March 10 its Florida “Drive-Out” program, which enables customers to take advantage of low one-way rates with no drop charges and unlimited mileage, plus a Global Positioning System (GPS)-based navigation device at no additional charge.

Under the program, Alamo customers traveling from select cities in Florida can rent cars for as little as $10 per day for economy through midsize cars, $12 per day for full-size cars, or $15 per day for minivans and standard SUVs—as long as the vehicles are dropped off at participating locations in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama.

In addition, special one-way rates as low as $20 per day are available for vehicles returned to participating locations in many other states, including: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.

Effective between April 1 and July 18, the “Drive-Out” program requires a 24-hour advance reservation and allows a maximum 21-day rental.
