Audi has started a new car-sharing program in Stockholm, Sweden. Called Audi unite, up to four people can share a car for up to two years.
Using a mobile app, drivers can reserve the car and track its location, according to the Audi unite website. Each driver receives a key to the vehicle and a fuel card, which allows drivers to add fuel costs to a monthly bill.
Paid by each driver, a monthly fee also includes insurance and maintenance costs. The fees can either be divided evenly among the members or based on how much each person drives, according to the website.
To get started, users choose their preferred Audi model, which features everything from the A3 to the A8 to the Q3 to the R8. Then users select the number of drives in the contract, the length of the contract (12 months or 24 months) and the mileage limit (20.000 kilometers or 30.000 kilometers).
In addition to insurance and maintenance, the Audi unite includes season tire change, monthly cleaning and customer support, according to the website.
