Avis Budget is helping to support those areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.

“Our field operations are working around the clock to assess areas impacted so that we may continue to serve and support during this time,” said McCall. “Avis Budget Group has a longstanding partnership with agencies such as The Red Cross and FEMA, which enable us to be at-the-ready when community support is needed. The Red Cross has established base operations within one of our facilities at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).”

“We are working with other partners and corporate customers to provide vehicles to customers who have lost their personal cars,” added McCall. “We are moving vehicles into the affected areas, but as this situation is still unfolding, we do not yet know how many of our vehicles will ultimately be involved.”
