On May 12, Avis Rent A Car announced that it has joined forces with Penske Automotive Group Inc. (PAG) to provide rental car services in select Penske Automotive locations in the United States. These new Avis locations will provide Penske Service customers with access to outstanding Avis vehicles at affordable prices, including the convenience of onsite professional service, automatic reservations and roadside assistance.

In addition, Avis will provide rental car services in select Penske collision centers. Collision center customers can take advantage of the Avis Vehicle Replacement Program that offers special vehicle replacement rental rates and direct billing to insurance companies so that customers can avoid unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses.

“Many people don't realize that they have a choice when it comes to renting a car that will be paid through their auto insurance policy,” said F. Robert Salerno, president and chief operating officer for Avis Budget Group, parent company of Avis. “Our association with Penske Automotive Group will provide Penske customers with clean, well-maintained late-model vehicles to drive while their own cars are being serviced, backed by our renowned Avis ‘We Try Harder’ service.”

Penske, chairman of Penske Automotive Group. “We're proud of the premium service that customers receive at Penske Automotive Group locations such as our Inskip Auto Mall in Inskip, Rhode Island, our Turnersville, New Jersey Auto Mall and at our Royal Palm, Florida Auto Mall where Avis service is now available. Our locations feature great brands with world-class facilities and this unique partnership with Avis will provide customers with added benefits to enhance their overall experience while visiting one of our dealership locations.”
