Valsoft Corporation Inc., a Montreal-based company specializing in the acquisition and development of vertical market software businesses, is acquiring Bluebird Auto Rental Systems, L.P., an industry-leading car rental software provider headquartered in Dover, N.J. with regional sales and support offices throughout the U.S., as well as Canada and the U.K.
Since 1982, Bluebird has been supporting hundreds of customers around the world. Its flagship product, RentWorks, provides all the tools needed to run a car rental business or service loaner department, from the front counter to the back office. Modules are available for everything from credit card processing and signature pads to website and accounting integration.
Bluebird Auto Rental Systems, L.P., was established in 1993 when Angela Margolit and a handful of limited partners purchased the auto rental division of Bluebird Systems. Under Angela’s leadership and tenure, Bluebird has attracted and retained an extremely loyal customer-base and its premier products, RentWorks and NetRent, remain market leaders in its industry.
Margolit will help transition the company so that the team at Valsoft can pursue their mission to grow the business and advance its technology. The company will continue to develop, enhance, service, and support their industry-leading RentWorks and NetRent solutions in providing a competitive edge to customers.
