PARSIPPANY, N.J. -– Budget Rent A Car System Inc. has introduced a one-click feature that quickens the online reservations process for Fastbreak members.

Members simply click "reserve now" to confirm a reservation after they enter their Fastbreak number and booking information on the homepage.

"A large percentage of our bookings are made on the Budget Web site," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Budget. "We anticipate that with the improved navigation and simpler functionality, even more customers will take advantage of online booking."

Fastbreak is the Budget express service that lets members bypass the counter and go directly to their car of choice at Fastbreak Choice locations. Or, at a Fastbreak counter location, members can receive car keys and be on their way after showing a Budget representative a valid driver's license.

Budget.com also features improvements that non-Fastbreak members can use. Visitors to the site can now use a pop-up calendar when selecting their pickup and drop-off dates. In addition, the vehicle selection option has been added to the homepage to expedite the reservation process.

Budget.com attracts 1.5 million unique users each month.
