PARSIPPANY, N.J. –- Budget Rent A Car has teamed up with Southwest Airlines' online corporate booking tool, SWABIZ, to offer small businesses the chance to earn free travel faster.

Through April 30, 2005, companies that sign up for the Budget Business Program can receive double Rapid Rewards credit (one credit per rental instead of the usual one-half credit) on Southwest Airlines for all qualifying car rentals completed within the first 90 days following the enrollment date.

Each corporate traveler within the company is eligible to receive the credit. Once a traveler receives 16 Rapid Rewards credits within 12 consecutive months, he or she earns a roundtrip to any of the 60 destinations Southwest serves.

The Budget Business Program is geared for small businesses. Enrollment in the program is free. Benefits include corporate rates with unlimited mileage. There are no additional-driver fees as well.

Program participants also get complimentary Fastbreak service, in which they can choose any available vehicle from a designated area on the lot. What's more, the Rapid Return service lets renters return their cars and obtain receipts right in the lot, without ever visiting the counter.

"The Budget Business Program is designed to help companies manage their travel needs and reward frequent renters with additional perks," said Gerard Quirk, vice president of global travel industry for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Budget. "We are pleased to offer these businesses added value through our partnership with Southwest Airlines' SWABIZ."

The double-credit offer is valid on qualifying rentals of two or more days on mid-size or higher car classes. Vehicles are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply.
