PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Budget Rent A Car System Inc. has launched a new online enrollment process for "Fastbreak," the Budget express service that allows members to expedite the reservation process.
New Fastbreak members can now receive real-time delivery of their Budget Customer Number (BCN) and can begin renting with Fastbreak service immediately with the new system. The upgraded enrollment process also features easy-to-use drop-down menus, "help" screens to provide more information about optional protections, Global Master Rental Agreement terms and conditions, and other program information.
Fastbreak members can also take advantage of "Fastbreak Choice," which lets them choose any available vehicle from a designated area on the lot. Fastbreak Choice is available at most major U.S. airports.
"The Fastbreak program is about responding to what our customers want -- getting them into their vehicle quickly and on their way," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, the parent company of Budget. "And, with nearly half of our customers booking online, it is important for us to continually update Budget.com with tools to make their rental experience quicker and easier."
In addition to the Fastbreak enrollment upgrade, Budget has added a hassle-free reservation modification feature to its Web site. Any customer with an existing reservation can now modify a reservation by clicking on the "Existing Reservation" tab on the Budget homepage and providing his or her last name and confirmation number.
To make or change a reservation or to enroll in Budget Fastbreak, customers can visit www.budget.com.
