HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, Canada -- Avis Rent A Car System and CanJet Airlines announced they have joined forces to offer CanJet customers Avis discounts when they book airline reservations.
CanJet Airlines serves eight destinations in Eastern and Central Canada as well as Chicago's Midway,New York's LaGuardia and three Florida destinations.
The airline will provide its customers discounted Avis rates via its Web site at www.canjet.com and through the reservations sales center at (800) 809-7777.
"Giving customers the opportunity to reserve their Avis vehicle when booking flights through our Web site and our call center is yet another positive step in enhancing our customers' overall CanJet experience," said Julie Gossen, executive vice president and chief operating officer for CanJet Airlines.
"CanJet Airlines has a strong presence in Eastern Canada," said William Boxberger, vice president and general manager of Avis Canada. "We welcome them into the Avis family and look forward to growing our businesses together."
