CarTrawler Wins Innovation Award, Launches Green Initiative
The car rental distribution company was recognized at the 2008 Travel Technology Show and recently launched a new environmental program.
CarTrawler was recently awarded the inaugural Innovation Award at the 2008 Travel Technology Show hosted at Earls Court, London. The car rental distribution company scooped the award which recognizes innovation, ingenuity and leadership in the travel technology industry.
Additionally, Cartrawler also recently launched a new environmental initiative, WORLDWIDE 100. Under the new program, one tree will be planted for every 100 car rental reservations made through the CarTrawler reservation system. WORLDWIDE 100 has enabled the company to pledge to plant enough oak trees throughout 2008 to fill an area the size of Giants Stadium.
CarTrawler is a global car rental distribution system, enabling customers to access real-time pricing, availability and bookings from 450 car-hire suppliers in 134 countries, from within their existing sites.
