Catrala of Ala. Elects New Officers, Board of Directors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –-- Chuck Carr, regional vice president for Enterprise, was elected president of the Car and Truck Renting and Leasing Association of Alabama. Catrala is an information clearinghouse that updates members on national, state and local legislation and regulation.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –-- Chuck Carr, regional vice president for Enterprise, was elected president of the Car and Truck Renting and Leasing Association of Alabama. Catrala is an information clearinghouse that updates members on national, state and local legislation and regulation.

Carr, an 18-year Enterprise veteran, has served on the board of directors of Catrala of Alabama for four years and most recently completed a two-year term as secretary-treasurer. He has been involved with the association for more than eight years.

In addition to Carr, Catrala of Alabama also elected the following officers: secretary-treasurer is David Stogner of Budget Rent A Car; vice president/truck is Ralph Phillips of Ryder Truck Rental; vice president/car rental is Scott Chappell of Americar Rental Systems; and vice president/car leasing is Steve Palmer of Creative Leasing.

For Catrala of Alabama’s 2006 board of directors, the newly elected chairman is Jeff Roof of Avis/Birmingham. The board of directors also includes Hal Sisco of Ryder; Rusty Bedsole of Avis/Mobile; Joe Williams of Royal Leasing; Charles Huguley of Pierson Leasing; and Sam Stewart of Jim Burke Automotive Group. Aubrey Pittman of Ray Ingram Motors was named associate director.
