Chris Pohl hired as ADESA's New Internet Communications Specialist

ADESA, Inc. (NYSE:KAR), North America’s largest publicly traded provider of wholesale vehicle auctions and used vehicle dealer floorplan financing, today announced Chris Pohl has been hired as ADESA’s new Internet Communications Specialist. His first day on the job is Monday, December 4, 2006.

“Chris will play a key role in helping ADESA enhance its e-mail marketing strategies,” said Brent Huisman, Vice President, Dealer Relations. “Technology is playing an ever-increasing role in helping us better target and market to our customers and to measure the effectiveness of our efforts. Chris has the experience and skills to help us take advantage of the benefits these technology tools can provide.”

Prior to joining ADESA, Chris worked as the Public Relations Director/Project Manager for Digonex Technologies, Inc., an Indianapolis-based software developer. From 1993 to 2005, he was a project manager for the Indiana Film Commission, working to promote the state’s $300-million film and television industry. Chris also worked as a freelance PR/Marketing Manager and Web master for CJ Rayburn Race Cars in Whiteland, Indiana, and a Cable Manager at WNIN-TV in Evansville, Indiana.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
