For the next two weeks, the nearly 800 Chrysler dealerships that are shutting down are looking to sell 44,000 Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles at discount prices, reports ABC News.
According to the news source, the now-bankrupt Chrysler will not buy back cars from the 789 dealers it is letting go. Thus, those dealers have the option to sell the cars by June 9 with government assistance on rebates and low-cost financing or relinquish the vehicles to auctions and to Chrysler dealers who will remain in business.
