PORTLAND, Maine -- Construction of a $37 million six-level parking garage, the first level of which will accommodate car rental counters, is under way at the Portland International Jet Port. The rental counters will be located in an atrium.
"The rental vehicles will be under cover, out of the rain, snow and sun," said Kevin Sullivan, marketing manager for Portland International Jet Port. "And it will be more convenient for the traveling public to rent vehicles."
Portions of the garage are expected to open to the public by February.
