TULSA, Okla. -- In addition to booking a vehicle directly through dollar.com using a personal data assistant (PDA), Dollar Rent A Car customers now also have the option to book a vehicle from Internet-ready cell phones and pocket PCs.
Customers can check rates, as well as make, cancel, view and modify reservations in minutes, Dollar said. Online help and e-mail support options are also available.
Cellular and pocket PC wireless customers can access Dollar reservations by logging onto mobile.dollar.com
"Dollar customers are becoming more technology-savvy than ever, booking our cars anywhere, any time using wireless devices," said Charlie Coniglio, staff vice president for e-commerce. "We will continue looking at ways to improve technology to enhance our wireless customers' reservation experience."
