Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), is driving Best Western customers to DOLLAR by awarding "double points" to members of the hotel chain's Gold Crown Club International (GCCI) loyalty program.

During the promotional period, when Gold Crown Club members rent a compact vehicle or larger from DOLLAR for two days or more, they will receive double points. Typically, Gold Crown Club members earn 1,000 points per rental with DOLLAR, but during the promotion - which runs from Jan. 15, 2007 through April 15, 2007 - members will earn 2,000 points.

"DOLLAR is already a great value for Best Western Gold Crown Club members," said Brian Carpenter, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Advertising of Dollar Rent A Car. "Through this elite offer, we are able to further reward these special customers who benefit from DOLLAR's everyday low rates."

To receive GCCI points at DOLLAR, members need to request them at the time of rental and provide their membership number at the counter. When making a reservation, mention Promotional Code DR7P or enter it in the "PC Code" field on DOLLAR.com. A hotel stay is not required to earn GCCI points at DOLLAR. Some limitations may apply.

Best Western's Gold Crown Club loyalty program is one of the industry's few truly international travel clubs. Members across the globe can earn points towards an extensive array of product and service awards - including Global Free Room Nights with no blackout dates; dining, shopping, and entertainment gift certificates; as well as airline miles - at Best Western hotels around the world. Gold Crown Club members earn 10 points per U.S. dollar (or comparable in other currencies) spent on qualified room rates. Members can also receive points by using the services of GCCI preferred retail partners. For more information or to enroll in the program, visit www.goldcrownclub.com or call 1-800-237-8483.
