Dollar, Thrifty to Open Locations in Poland
The car rental companies opened a dual-branded in-terminal location at Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport in early June 2008 and plan to be operational in Katowice International Airport later in June 2008.
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group has announced that its brands, Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental, are opening locations in Poland for the first time in June 2008.
As part of a master franchise agreement with Armada Fleet Management Service, a vehicle leasing company in Warsaw, Poland, Dollar and Thrifty opened a dual-branded in-terminal location at Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport in early June 2008 and plan to be operational in Katowice International Airport later in June 2008.
The company said that three more locations are scheduled to open by the end of 2008, including an in-terminal location at Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport featuring both the Dollar and Thrifty brands, as well as suburban locations in Gdansk and Warsaw.
