DTAG Honored with Pro Patria Award
TULSA, Okla. --- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. has been awarded the Pro Patria Award by the Oklahoma Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, recognizing the rental firm's support of its employee reservists.
TULSA, Okla. --- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. has been given the Pro Patria Award by the Oklahoma Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. The award was presented to the company in recognition of its support of its employee reservists at a ceremony on February 23. Dollar Thrifty was one of two recipients to receive the semi-annual award, the highest honor a state ESGR can bestow.
Dollar Thrifty provides differential pay between military and base salary and also provides the option to continue health benefits for the employee and any dependents covered by some of the company's benefits plans for up to 335 days.
In addition, DTAG CEO Gary L. Paxton was presented with the Seven Seals Award which is given to individuals who demonstrate meritorious leadership in support of the guard and reserve.
ESGR is a Department of Defense agency that was established in 1972. Its volunteers provide free education, consultation, and if necessary, mediation for employers of Guard and Reserve employees
