ST. LOUIS –-- Enterprise Rent-A-Car and FIX AUTO Network, a provider of business solutions technology to the collision industry and to independent collision repair centers in North America, have announced their partnership.

Enterprise is integrating its proprietary Automated Rental Management System with FIX AUTO's technology system in an effort to further streamline collision repair and rental car status reports monitored by insurance companies.

The ARMS technology, which facilitates three-way communications between the insurers, repair shops and Enterprise, currently is used by more than 60,000 adjusters and more than 500 insurance companies nationwide. ARMS functions include initiating a rental car reservation, monitoring repairs and authorizing payment through electronic funds transfer.

ARMS is a seamless process that uses desktop technology to automatically update and send vehicle status reports directly to insurance companies online. Enterprise and FIX AUTO will jointly look to integrate their technologies so that FIX AUTO Network members can reduce phone calls and paperwork.
