With the appointment of Grupo ANC as an Enterprise Rent-A-Car franchise partner, Enterprise Holdings announced today that it is expanding into Latin America in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
Along with Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s debut in the Caribbean in 2014 and its continued expansion in Europe, these new Latin American operations highlight the growth of the brand, according to the company.

“The launch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Latin America means international travelers and local residents can experience the brand’s renowned customer service and great rates,” said Peter A. Smith, vice president of global franchising at Enterprise. “Costa Rica, in particular, is an extremely popular tourism destination for our customers, making it a great starting point for extending the Enterprise brand into Latin America.”
In Costa Rica, Enterprise Rent-A-Car will serve customers at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport as well as at Juan Santamaria International Airport. Additionally, Enterprise will also open a downtown office at Momentum Lindora Plaza in San Jose. All Costa Rica locations are now open and operational, says the company.
In Guatemala and Nicaragua, reservations made through Enterprise Rent-A-Car channels will be served by Drive Alliance partner National Car Rental at its current rental locations at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Augusto César Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua, according to the company.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
The combination brings actionable vehicle insights into PurCo’s PurInspect platform, improving damage detection and operational efficiency for rental fleets.
