Fox Opens Las Vegas Location
Fox Rent A Car announces the opening of its 10th corporate-owned location serving the Las Vegas airport.

Fox Rent A Car recently announced the opening of its 10th corporate-owned location serving the McCarran International Airport serving Las Vegas, Nev. The business opened on August 21. “The opening was the largest we have had to date,” said Mike Jaberi, vice president and co-founder of Fox Rent A Car. “The initial business volume has surpassed all of our expectations, and the fleet will continue to build over the next several months to accommodate the large volume of reservation activity.” The location is at 8801 S. Las Vegas Blvd, and is highly visible from famous Las Vegas Blvd South. The property size is more than three acres.
“We know how important the proper facilities are to conduct a business of this size,” Jaberi said. “With the expansion opportunities in Las Vegas, we did not want to have to limit our opportunity due to space or facility size.”
The Fox location has opened with a large fleet of cars with models that include Jeep Wrangler, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and a variety of SUVs and convertibles. “Many of our initial Las Vegas renters have rented from Fox elsewhere, so they looked forward to gaining a price advantage along with our excellent customer service in the Las Vegas market,” said Joe Knight, vice president of business development. “Booking with Fox allows our customers to pay less and experience a true value-driven transaction.”
Knight continued, “Adding Las Vegas as a destination in our system has improved business in all of our locations, due to our expanded drop-off capability throughout the Southwest and California.”
The location is now open from 5 a.m. until midnight, but due to the heavy reservation volume, it will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, beginning Oct. 1, 2008.
