<i>G.I. Jobs</i> Honors Enterprise Holdings as ‘Military Friendly Employer’
Enterprise employs nearly 6,000 military veterans or reservists, which includes the more than 1,500 that were hired in 2012.
Enterprise Holdings, which owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental brands, was named a 2013 Military Friendly Employer by publisher of G.I. Jobs magazine, Victory Media, on Dec. 18.
The January 2013 edition of G.I. Jobs magazine will showcase Enterprise Holdings, along with other designated “Military Friendly Employers.”
Victory Media designated the awards based on a company’s programs and policies such as the strength of military recruiting efforts, the percentage of new hires with prior military service, retention programs and company policies on National Guard and Reserve service.
In 2012, Enterprise Holdings hired more than 1,500 veterans and active/inactive reservists. Overall, 6,000 employees are military veterans or reservists.
