International car rental brand Green Motion continues its European expansion, adding a new location in the historic city of Porto, Portugal.

Green Motion first entered the Portuguese market with sale of its Master Country Franchise to MCoutinho Group with the inaugural location opening in Lisbon in 2022.  

"It's fantastic that only six months after opening the first location in Portugal, we are now celebrating the opening of the second location under the careful ownership of MCoutinho Group,” Green Motion Founder and CEO Richard Lowden said. “We are incredibly proud of the service that the Green Motion Portugal team lead by Paulo Pereira has achieved, and are looking forward to continuing the development of our brand across this crucial Western-European market."
