PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Hertz this week announced a variety of rental discounts and upgrades for AARP members this summer.
"AARP members are making their summer travel plans now, and Hertz's discount and upgrade offers underscore our commitment to serving mature travelers by helping them maximize their vacation dollars," said Vince Canale, Hertz's division vice president of business development and membership programs.
Offers include a free double upgrade, a free one car class upgrade, $15 off a weekly rental, up to $15 off a weekend rental, and a free child seat.
The promotion is available at participating Hertz locations in the U.S. and Canada. Rates include unlimited mileage. Weekly rates require a minimum five-day rental.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
