Hertz has eliminated the deductible on its collision damage waiver and theft protection for its Affordable Italy Prepaid Inclusive package. In addition, Hertz is providing fire coverage at no additional charge with the Affordable Italy Prepaid Inclusive deal.
As with all Affordable Europe rentals, travel agents booking Affordable Italy Prepaid Inclusive rentals are guaranteed 10% commission.
"Travel agents have stressed the importance for clients to have these additional levels of coverage when traveling in Italy," said Michael V. Garcia, staff vice president, International Sales & Marketing for Hertz. "We're pleased to amend our Affordable Italy product with the services clients want to receive while at the same time providing additional peace of mind to travelers renting in Italy."
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
