Hertz Introduces Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Customer Loyalty Program
To introduce the program, Hertz is offering a 500 point sign up bonus, equivalent to a free weekend rental day, and a 100 bonus points per paid rental day on qualifying rentals taking place through September 30, 2011.
Park Ridge, NJ -- The Hertz Corporation has launched a new customer loyalty program, Gold Plus Rewards. Gold Plus Rewards adds a number of consumer friendly enhancements to Hertz's loyalty program, formerly Hertz #1 Awards, to make earning rewards faster and easier. Gold Plus Rewards provides customers with a wide range of flexible reward options including points that never expire, 'AnyDay' reward options that have no blackout periods, easy online redemption on hertz.com, international point accrual, and a wide variety of car rewards including cars from Hertz's new Adrenaline Collection.
"Gold Plus Rewards is the most advantageous rewards program in the industry with points that don't expire and that don't have blackout dates. The program was designed to enable members to quickly accumulate and begin using their free rental days," commented Mark P. Frissora, Hertz Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "A superior program, Gold Plus Rewards reflects extensive input from our customers and, in addition to free rental days, we're enabling all customers to take advantage of Hertz's premiere, expedited rental process."
To introduce the program, Hertz is offering a 500 point sign up bonus, equivalent to a free weekend rental day, and a 100 bonus points per paid rental day on qualifying rentals taking place through September 30, 2011. In addition, for a limited time, Hertz is waiving the $60 sign-up fee associated with its expedited Gold service offering. To take advantage of these promotions customers simply go to www.HertzGoldPlusRewards.com to enroll.
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is a fast, easy, and flexible loyalty program that enables members to earn free rental car days. Members who elect to earn Gold Plus Rewards Points earn one point per dollar spent on qualifying Hertz rentals. Free weekend rental days are earned for as few as 500 points, making Gold Plus Rewards one of the fastest ways to free car rental days. Points are tracked automatically and can easily be redeemed online. Rewards include a wide choice of rental options and car types including cars from any of Hertz's Collections -- the new Adrenaline and Green Traveler Collections and the popular Prestige Collection.
Gold Plus Rewards has AnyDay Rewards with no black-out dates, allowing members to use points at any time. Members also have the flexibility to use their points when it is convenient for them as Gold Plus Rewards Points do not automatically expire. Each time a member earns points or redeems points, their points renew for an additional 24 months which means they do not have to worry about points expiring.
To introduce Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, Hertz is offering members three promotional opportunities available July 1 through September 30, 2011:
Fee Waived Gold service: Hertz is offering Gold Plus Rewards members free Gold service; normally $60 annually.
Bonus of 500 Gold Plus Rewards Points: Current and new members will be awarded 500 Gold Plus Rewards Points (equivalent to a free weekend day) for registering for the launch promotion.
100 Bonus Points Per Rental Day: Members who register online will be awarded a bonus of 100 Gold Plus Rewards Points per rental day. This is in addition to the regular points earned for qualifying rentals.
For Gold Plus Rewards details, to sign up for any of the promotional offers, and to earn Gold Plus Rewards on all qualifying rentals, customers simply need to visit www.HertzGoldPlusRewards.com.
Gold Plus Rewards replaces Hertz #1 Awards in the U.S. and Canada and makes earning rewards fast and easy providing customers with a wide range of flexible reward options. Points earned previously in the #1 Awards program will transition automatically into the Gold Plus Rewards program.
