Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. announced that Robert J. Stuart has been appointed senior vice president, global sales. Stuart joins Hertz from General Electric where since 2006, he has served as general manager for consumer lighting and electric distribution sales.

Prior to that, Stuart was general manager, consumer marketing, where he led efforts to significantly improve sales penetration at key retail outlets. Before joining GE in 2000, Stuart held senior level marketing and sales positions at the Halex Company and the Philips Lighting Company.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
