Michel Taride, president, Hertz International and executive vice president, Hertz Corp., said: “Hertz aspires to offer truly innovative rental experiences to our customers, and the spell-binding McLaren MP4-12C provides an opportunity of a lifetime to experience Formula 1 race-bred technologies on the road. We are very excited to offer the exclusive hire of the exhilarating sports car from www.hertzsupercars.com.”
The 12C features a 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine, which produces 592hp and 600Nm torque. Demonstrating McLaren’s motorsport DNA, the 12C’s unique carbon fiber "MonoCell" chassis weighs just over 165 lbs. The McLaren Airbrake and McLaren Brake Steer support 12C dynamics and bespoke ProActive Chassis Control suspension and SSG transmission deliver ultimate track times and supreme comfort on the road.
The McLaren retails at 212,000 pounds Sterling. Hertz customers can experience this luxury by hiring the supercar from rates starting at 1134.30 pounds for a single day mid-week. The rates reduce to 906.30 pounds per day for rentals lasting more than 28 days. Terms and conditions apply.
Through the exclusive Hertz/Premiere Velocity partnership, customers are able to drive some of the world’s most desirable super cars. In addition to the McLaren MP4-12C, the Lamborghini LP560-4 Bicolore, Porsche Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet, Ferrari 458 Italia, Range Rover Evoque and Mercedes S Class Brabus are only available to renters through the Premiere Velocity service.
Other super cars on offer include the Rolls Royce Phantom, the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Aventador, Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster and McLaren MP4. Customers can be provided with a meet and greet service that delivers cars to an agreed location such as home, hotel, office or airport.
