The non-discounted, unlimited-mileage average rate for a one-day car rental for an intermediate-size car in Honolulu is $41, according to Runzheimer. Other cities offering low prices include Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. ($42.50); Sioux Falls, S.D. ($44); and Cheyenne, Wy. and Manchester, N.H. (both at $45).
