NORWALK, Conn. --- The meta-search site Kayak.com can now scour the Web for car rental deals the same way it searches for flight and hotel deals.

The integrated search engine lets shoppers compare cars and prices directly from the Web sites of Advantage, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and Thrifty in one click. Online shoppers can access special Web-only and loyalty program deals available solely through rental car brand Web sites.

Shoppers can also filter search results by dragging the price slider to instantly purge more expensive options. By clicking on column headers, Kayak.com users can instantly sort results by price, rental brand or class/car. Smart buttons can remember past searches and preferred car types.
