Mytripcar.com, a new car rental comparison site, says it shows the “real cost consumers will pay for their car rental, including hidden costs usually found in the terms and conditions.”

Mytripcar.com also displays counter wait times and whether the car rental office is located in the airport terminal or if it’s necessary to take a shuttle, according to the company.

A search function displays the cost of insurance and any extras such as child seats or GPS units.

“Because of our background, we know what consumers find most frustrating when it comes to renting a car for their vacation,” said Fernando Almenara, CEO of Mytripcar.com. “We have listened to consumers and tried to address these frustrations, making sure that they can clearly see upfront how much they will be charged and for what before they make a decision.”

Currently, Mytripcar.com offers car rental cost comparisons in tourist destinations throughout Europe, but other destinations are expected to be added in the future, according to the company.
