ADESA, Inc. (NYSE:KAR), North America's largest publicly traded provider of wholesale vehicle auctions and used vehicle dealer floorplan financing, today announced it has hired Peter Snoyer as its Director of Business Development for ADESA's Canadian operations. The position will focus on expanding ADESA's footprint in the country through innovative technology-based products and services.
"Snoyer brings extensive experience in the automotive industry to his new role," said Benjamin Skuy, Managing Director and COO of ADESA Canada. "He brings to us not only sound knowledge of the auction business, but also firsthand knowledge of the Internet and upstream remarketing marketplace that will help us to forge ahead as an industry leader in providing solutions to finance companies, dealers and the public."
Snoyer has more than 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, the last six of those with Onlane. Prior to this, Snoyer worked as fleet manager at the Canadian Auction Group which was purchased by ADESA Canada in 2000.
