Nearly two months after Uber’s departure from California, the company is preparing to launch its self-driving cars in Arizona, according to a report by The Verge.

The ride-hailing company’s move to Arizona came after California’s Department of Motor Vehicles stated that Uber could no longer legally operate its autonomous vehicles for failing to apply for the appropriate permits, says the report.

Arizona’s Gov. Doug Ducey is expected to be “Rider Zero” for Uber’s program. The rides will have two Uber engineers in the front seats, just in case a human needs to take over control over the self-driving car, according to the report.

Uber plans on expanding the autonomous vehicle service throughout Arizona, says the report.
