Sixt Named Europe's Best Car Rental Company
For the second consecutive year, the Germany-based car rental company received the award given by Business Traveller magazine.
Sixt AG, Germany's largest car rental company and a full-service leasing provider, has won the Business Traveller’s 2007 award for Best Rental Car Company in Europe. Sixt finished first in this category for the second consecutive year.
Hans-Norbert Topp, Sixt’s chief sales officer and member of the board, received the award from Mark Tügel, editor-in-chief of Business Travellermagazine, during an award ceremony on Jan. 17 in Frankfurt, Germany.
According to business travelers surveyed, Sixt outperformed the other providers with respect to the competition’s key assessment criteria including: a good price/service ratio, efficient rental procedures, customer-friendly and transparent transactions, high quality of vehicles, service orientation and know-how on the part of employees.
The Business Travelleraward is presented annually and is considered a public-choice award since readers' votes are not in any way influenced by the publishing company or by the editorial team of the magazine. In 2005, Sixt was voted Best Rental Car Company in Germany.
