Thrifty Deploys New Customer Management System
The car rental company has enhanced its national business development center with the implementation of new software created by MyGoalTracking.
Thrifty Car Sales, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc., has enhanced its national business development center (BDC) with the implementation of new software created by MyGoalTracking, which works on customer relationship management (CRM).
The deployment of the new system is expected to double Thrifty’s lead-management capabilities and improve customer satisfaction levels on behalf of its national network of franchised used car dealerships, the company reports.
Available at no additional cost to Thrifty’s dealers, the business development center utilizes telephone sales agents who take incoming phone calls generated by dealers’ marketing efforts. Agents also make outbound calls to follow up on Internet leads, sold and unsold showroom traffic, missed appointments and referrals.
Among the capabilities of the new system:
• Web-based application, can be accessed from anywhere via the Internet.
• Easy input of customer data by dealers’ sales staff.
• Provides “real-time” file management between dealers and Thrifty Car Sales’ national call center.
• Produces automatic scheduling of follow-up calls, letters and e-mails.
