TULSA, Okla. -- Thrifty Car Rental has opened an in-terminal location at Orlando Sanford International Airport.
"Orlando remains one of the top vacation destinations in the United States among international and domestic travelers," said Jay Foley, senior executive vice president of corporate operations for Dollar Thrifty. "Adding our Thrifty Car Rental brand to Sanford International Airport allows us to capitalize on both of our car rental brands' reputations for value and allows us to do so from both of the airport's two terminals."
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group's Dollar Rent A Car counter will continue to serve domestic and international customers from the company's International Welcome Center, Foley said.
Traditionally, Sanford has been an international tour destination. But in recent years, domestic carriers have increased their presence, making it more attractive for the Thrifty brand, Foley added.
