A Houston woman is accused of renting cars that police claim were used in a series of armed robberies, according to a report by KHOU 11. One of the robberies was a home invasion that resulted in one resident dying, according to court documents.

Houston police said the suspect rented seven vehicles through Turo, a carsharing mobile app. At least four of the vehicles have been linked to aggravated robberies in Houston’s Galleria area, according to court documents.

Police said that she rented the vehicles for use in a scheme with a man, who was identified as her longtime boyfriend, according to the report. She claimed that her boyfriend drove each vehicle, but police suspect that she had knowledge of the crimes and she was providing the vehicles for the robberies, court documents said.

The suspect has been arrested and she has been charged with engaging in organized crime-aggravated robbery, according to the report.
