PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- United Airlines and Avis are teaming up to offer travelers a free rental day and vehicle upgrade when they purchase a qualifying flight on United, United Express, Ted or Star Alliance.
In addition, United's Mileage Plus members can earn 50 miles per qualifying rental day on rentals of one to four days, or 500 miles on qualifying rentals of five days or more. They can also earn 1,000 miles when they book a qualifying flight on united.com.
Customers must book a United flight by Nov. 11, 2004, and rent a qualifying vehicle from Avis for two days or more, including a Saturday, in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Other restrictions apply.
