Evo Car Share, a carsharing service in Vancouver, has announced it will be adding more cars and expanding its Home Zone for the third time since its launch last year.

Evo has expanded its fleet of hybrid Toyota Priuses to 750, according to the company. And its Home Zone now includes the city of North Vancouver with three more colleges and pick-up and drop-off locations at Metrotown.

Launched last year and created by the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA), Evo Car Share is Vancouver’s only carsharing service with a full fleet of hybrid vehicles, according to the company. Vehicles are also equipped with bike/ski racks.

"It's a great feeling to expand again and be in communities where our members and locals have been asking for us," said Tai Silvey, director of Evo Car Share. "Because Evo Car Share is a local company, it's designed for life in B.C., and we're excited to offer Evo to more Lower Mainland residents and students who want to use Evo to get around town."
