PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Payless Car Rental said that during the fiscal year that ended June 30, the company increased its presence from 135 locations to more than 1,800 locations globally -- a result of international master franchise agreements with Sixt Rent A Car in Europe and Network Car and Truck Rentals in Australia.
Through the agreements, Payless now services 62 countries.
During the fiscal year, the company also increased domestic sales, adding 13 franchises in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas and Washington.
