Connect by Hertz, Hertz's global car sharing club, announced the expansion this week of its one-way program, significantly increasing the number of locations members can pick up or drop off their vehicle. The program allows members to rent one way from any of more than 100 locations in greater New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., the Hamptons and Hoboken, NJ. Locations include all of the New York City area airports, LaGuardia, JFK and Newark. As the program expands, Hertz states that Connect members will eventually be able to rent one-way from New York City to other Connect cities and college campuses throughout the country.

Connect by Hertz also announces that effective May 1, 2011, U.S. member benefits will include the elimination of all membership fees in the U.S.; guaranteed vehicle availability Monday through Thursday, increased vehicle options, the introduction of membership enrollment kiosks in New York City and an enhanced member Web site.
