Carwiz International entered another fast-growing market with a new location in Panama, the famous isthmus nation that connects the two Americas.
This move underscores the brand’s long-term vision, focused on global expansion into markets with strong potential for the rental car business.
The new franchise location will operate under the name Total Carro Corp, led by its director and owner, Lucas Outumuro. The company’s headquarters sit in Tocumen International Airport (PTY), Panama’s main transportation hub connecting business and leisure travelers worldwide.
The Panama car rental outlet will be run by the same Carwiz partner who already operates the franchise in Puerto Rico. For Carwiz, the move serves as another example of franchisees expanding their reach across multiple markets within the Carwiz network.
As one of the fastest-growing tourism and business hubs in the region, Panama is expected to help Carize further develop its global brand. The collaboration with the local partner is based on shared values, a clear business vision, and an understanding of modern car rental users' needs.
“Panama, as an important transportation and business hub, offers exceptional potential, and we see our partnership with the Total Carro Corp team as a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable brand development in this market,” said Krešimir Dobrilović, founder and CEO of Carwiz International, in an April 17 news release.
