Carwiz International recently entered the Uzbekistan market, marking the brand’s first-ever expansion into the Central Asian region.
This move reflects the company’s long-term vision for global expansion in fast-growing markets.
The new franchise location will operate under the company name Drivelab, and will be led by director Shakhzod Islamov Shukhrat o’g’li. The company’s headquarters is located in the capital city, Tashkent, which represents the country’s main economic, transportation, and tourism hub.
Entering Uzbekistan follows the growth of Carwiz’s network in other parts of the region.
“Entering Uzbekistan is particularly meaningful for us, as it opens the door to an entirely new region,” said Krešimir Dobrilović, founder and CEO of Carwiz International, in an April 23 news release. “Central Asia represents a large market with growing tourism and business potential, and we see our partnership with the Drivelab team as a strong foundation for the long-term and sustainable development of the brand in this country.”
The partnership with the local franchisee is based on shared values, a clear business vision, and a strong understanding of modern rent-a-car customers' needs. The focus will be on delivering a high level of service, a modern vehicle fleet, and Carwiz CARWIZ standards adapted to the specific characteristics of the local market.
