Advantage Announces GM will Assume New Responsibilities in Hawaii
Kevin Lake, the current general manager at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, has accepted the GM position in Hawaii.
Advantage Rent A Car announced recently that one of its top performing general managers has been selected to manage the company’s Hawaii car rental locations.
Kevin Lake, the current General Manager at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, has accepted the position as General Manager in Hawaii and will begin overseeing the Maui and Honolulu rental car locations starting Aug. 18.
Current Hawaii General Manager Karl Taylor will be returning to the mainland and will open and manage the new Tucson, Ariz., Advantage Rent A Car location, which is scheduled to open by early October.
“Kevin Lake has been a passionate, successful car rental operator in Seattle and Salt Lake City,” said Mick Anselmo, COO at Advantage. “His prior experience also includes operating in Hawaii, which will make the transition seamless.”
“I’m excited to return to the Hawaii marketplace with Advantage,” said Lake. “We love the islands and look forward to making a significant contribution in my new role as GM of the Honolulu and Maui locations for Advantage Rent A Car.”
