Advantage Rent A Car announces the election of Clay Cribbs, Director of Government Travel, Advantage Rent A Car, as Society of Government Travel Professionals (SGTP) Supplier Council member, taking office at the SGTP's Annual Conference February 7-9. Representing suppliers to government travelers, Cribbs two-year term will include providing training and strategic planning for the organization and offering assistance to new vendors.
"We're delighted to have access to the talents of these new Supplier Council Members and the others who are continuing in office," announced Chris Mize-McMillan, SGTP's Chair of Elections and Bylaws. "Many great projects that have advanced professionalism in our $28 billion / 60 million room night government travel market have succeeded as a direct result of the ideas and solutions offered by our many supplier members," McMillan added.
Also at the SGTP Conference, Advantage will be awarded the Merit Award for their successful state rental car program. In attendance to accept this honor was Vicki Goldman, Account Manager for State Travel. This recognition was awarded for delivering a state-of-the-art program to renters providing on-line training, on-line management tools, specialized customer service and a booking website offering easy navigation, added efficiencies and cost savings to its users.
