TORONTO, Ontario -- AirIQ, a leading fleet tracking and telematics provider serving the car rental industry, has acquired telematics company Aircept.com LLC, based in Irvine, Calif.
An AirIQ subsidiary, AirIQ U.S., completed the asset purchase transaction. Aircept has more than 80,000 active subscribers.
"Such highly compatible business models make this an ideal combination," said Don Simmonds, president and CEO of AirIQ, based in Toronto.
This new rental car outlet reflects the growing demand for reliable transportation and the emphasis on sustainable travel across the continent.
