FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Alamo Local Market Division, a division of ANC Rental Corp., has opened nine new stores in the Chicago market area. The new Chicago area stores, part of the Local Market Division's ongoing expansion plan, will bring its total number of locations to 530.

"We are in the midst of an aggressive expansion plan," said Alamo Local Market Division President Todd Faver. "Our customers, particularly our insurance company clients, have demanded more locations in high-profile, key market areas like Chicago, where we have now significantly expanded our presence."

Four additional Chicago market stores will open by October. In 2001, Alamo Local has opened 81 locations.
