The Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport in Amarillo, Texas, has completed a $4 million project to accommodate its four rental car companies at the airport, according to a report by KVII-TV’s ConnectAmarillo.com.
The new Consolidated Rental Car facility (CONRAC) was designed to reduce the time it takes for customers to access their rental cars from the airport, says the report.

“We have a new ready return lot and employee lot and the CONRACK facility, where the rental cars can now fuel, clean and do light maintenance and then reposition them back into the "Ready & Return" lot for the next customers,” Steven Picou, deputy director of aviation, told ConnectAmarillo.com.
The new rental car facility is complete, but it will open once signage from the rental companies is added, says the report.
